How to Use the Charging Station
1. Connecting to the Charger
- Plug the Type 2 connector into your electric vehicle.
- Once your EV is detected, the EV Link indicator will start flashing green.
2. Charging
- Once charging starts, the indicator will flash green.
3. Charging Complete
- When charging ends, the indicator will turn solid green and then turn off.
EV Charging Etiquette
Please be considerate of others and follow these simple guidelines:
- Only park in charging spots when you’re actively charging.
- Don’t exceed your necessary charge time.
- Move your vehicle as soon as charging is complete.
- Leave a note with your contact info or expected finish time on your dashboard.
- Never unplug another vehicle without permission.
- Avoid charging in rainy or wet conditions.
- Use proper extension cords and check cables for any damage.
- Review the charging rates applied by your mobility operator.
- Unplug your EV once it’s fully charged.
- Schedule your charging sessions to avoid peak times.
- Always return the charging cable neatly to its holster.
- Do not overstay in the charging spot after charging is done.
- Plug-in hybrids are welcome to charge here too.
